Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

The short version. We collect what we need to scope your job, schedule it, and follow up. We don't sell your data. We don't share it beyond the techs working on your job and the partners we contract with for it. You can ask us to delete everything at any time and we'll do it within 30 days.

What we collect

Category	What and why
Contact	Name, phone, email, service address - so we can scope, schedule, and dispatch.
Job context	Chat transcripts with our concierge, photos you upload, notes you share - so the tech arrives prepared.
Payment	Billing details processed by Stripe; we don't store full card numbers.
Robotics telemetry	For fleet customers: position, status, fault state of robots we manage for you - needed to provide the service.
Site analytics	Anonymous, cookieless analytics for the website (page views, source). No third-party tracking.

What we do with it

Scope your job and price it accurately.
Schedule and dispatch the right tech with the right context.
Send confirmation, reminder, and follow-up messages.
Improve our service - anonymized in aggregate, never tied to you personally.
Comply with legal obligations (tax records, etc).

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. Ever.
We don't share it with advertisers or marketing services.
We don't use your photos, chat history, or robot telemetry to train third-party AI models.
We don't send marketing email or SMS without your consent.

Who we share with

Only the people doing your job: the assigned tech, the project lead (for commercial), the fleet engineer (for robotics), our subprocessors for billing (Stripe), email (Postmark), and SMS (Twilio). We have data-processing agreements with each, and they cannot use your data for any other purpose.

AI and machine learning

Our concierge runs on language models we host locally, plus a cloud-hosted fallback. Photos you upload are analyzed by a local vision model and sent to the cloud fallback only when the local model is unavailable. None of your data is used to train models. How long we keep it

Active customer records: as long as you remain a customer.
Chat transcripts: 24 months, then deleted.
Photos: 24 months unless you ask sooner.
Job records (invoices, SOWs): 7 years for tax purposes.
Robotics telemetry: 90 days rolling for active fleets.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

See what we have about you.
Correct anything that's wrong.
Delete it (subject to legal retention obligations like tax records).
Export it in a portable format.
Stop receiving any non-essential communications.

California / state-specific rights

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA / CPRA, including the right to opt out of any "sale" of personal information (we don't sell, so this is moot for us, but it's your right). Similar rights apply for residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah under their respective state privacy laws.

Children

We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we'll notify active customers by email and post a notice on this page at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Sample document. This is a starting-point Privacy draft. Compliance details vary by state (CCPA, VCDPA, CPA), service type (HIPAA for any health-adjacent data), and customer category (commercial customers often have their own DPAs). Have a privacy attorney review before going live.
